Public Area Supervisor Job Summary

This is a dynamic and collaborative role where you will lead the cleaning and maintenance operations of all public spaces within the hotel. You will supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and upkeep, assign duties, inspect work quality, and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.

  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, cleaning schedules, supply usage, and team performance.
  • Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies, maintaining safety and sanitation standards.
Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or custodial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, housekeeping management systems).
