Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Business Development Manager to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing an account portfolio with the aim of generating and maximizing hotel revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validating the potential of assigned accounts and creating account plans in line with IHG hotels' standard operating procedures.
- Developing the assigned account portfolio to meet set goals and maximize profitability.
- Gathering information on current and prospective clients/contacts to generate incremental business.
- Maintaining effective control of sales expenses.
- Monitoring competitors' activities and sharing relevant information with key stakeholders in line with hotel procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality Management desired.
- 2-4 years of relevant sales experience in Hospitality or a related service industry.
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of hotel products, rates, and marketing programs.
- Excellent PC skills (including MS Office).
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
