Based at InterContinental Muscat, this position manages restaurant operations by achieving business objectives through customer-focused service delivery. Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team, and Service of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

  • Maintaining Trader Vic's international brand standards, ensuring consistency in atmosphere, signature drinks, and culinary offerings.
  • Preparing monthly reports on financial and product issues.
  • Controlling and analyzing departmental costs to meet budget expectations, implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Managing staffing costs through efficient scheduling in line with legal requirements.
  • Assisting the Director of Food & Beverage in preparing and monitoring the departmental annual budget.
  • Overseeing the implementation of departmental standards and procedures.
  • Ensuring adherence to opening, closing, and bill-paying procedures.
  • Conducting shift briefings to inform staff of VIPs, special occasions, and upselling opportunities.
  • Encouraging staff to provide optimum service and sharing guest feedback with relevant departments.
  • Developing and implementing a Promotions Calendar for F&B products.
  • Attending departmental meetings.

What We need from you:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 4–5-star hotel.
  • Excellent knowledge of beverages, including alcohol.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Micros operating systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
