The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's all day dining restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role involves leading the front-of-house team, maintaining service standards, managing budgets, and collaborating with the kitchen and hotel departments to deliver consistent and high-quality dining experiences.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
  • Ensure outstanding guest service and handle guest feedback professionally and effectively.
  • Train, lead, and motivate the service team to maintain high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Plan and manage staffing schedules based on business levels and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and timely food delivery.
  • Monitor cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation of the restaurant in accordance with brand standards.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Implement and enforce hotel and department policies, health & safety, and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Analyze sales reports and drive revenue through upselling, promotions, and guest engagement.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and achieving departmental financial targets.
  • Organize and manage restaurant events, promotions, or themed nights to attract guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of current food & beverage trends, guest preferences, and competitive offerings.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food & beverage service, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent guest service orientation with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in POS systems and restaurant management software.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, wine service, and HACCP regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
