Job Title: Recruitment Officer (Female)

Job Description
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through networking and relationship-building.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Job Analysis and Planning: Drafting and updating job descriptions for various roles.
  • Sourcing Candidates: Advertising open positions on job boards, company websites, and social media. Using LinkedIn, job fairs, or recruitment agencies to source talent. Engaging in proactive talent sourcing, sometimes even reaching out to passive candidates.
  • Screening and Shortlisting: Reviewing applications, resumes, and portfolios to ensure qualifications match job requirements. Conducting initial phone or video screenings to assess candidate interest, qualifications, and cultural fit. Coordinating skills tests or pre-screening assessments if necessary.
  • Interviewing: Scheduling and conducting interviews (or coordinating with managers to do so). Preparing interview questions that align with the role and organizational culture. Providing candidates with information about the company, role, and hiring process.
  • Candidate Selection: Making recommendations for hiring decisions based on interviews and evaluations. Coordinating background checks and reference checks. Ensuring all hiring processes are in compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Onboarding and Induction: Ensuring smooth communication between the hiring team and new employees during the onboarding process. Coordinating orientation sessions and training for new hires.
  • Maintaining Recruitment Databases: Keeping accurate records of candidates, interviews, and hiring metrics. Updating the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other internal databases.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generating reports on recruitment performance (e.g., time-to-hire, quality of hire, etc.). Identifying areas for improvement in the recruitment process.
  • Employer Branding: Promoting the company as an attractive employer through various channels. Building relationships with universities, recruitment agencies, and other potential sources of talent.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensuring all recruitment activities comply with labor laws, discrimination regulations, and internal policies. Staying up to date with the latest recruitment trends and technologies.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within a specific industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset to navigate changing hiring needs and market conditions.
  • Culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to ensure diverse candidate representation.
