ReThink Recruitment is a leading global recruitment agency, specializing in placing top talent in various industries. We are currently partnering with a well-established FMCG company to recruit a highly skilled General Trade Sales Development Manager.
About the Role:
This exciting opportunity involves developing and leading the General Trade strategy and development plans across Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing go-to-market strategies, owning route-to-market plans, and optimizing sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the General Trade strategy and development plans across Oman.
- Design and implement go-to-market strategies to drive sales growth.
- Own the route-to-market plan for Impulse, wholesale, and new channels.
- Optimize sales performance through data analysis and market research.
- Work closely with regional managers to ensure alignment and achieve regional objectives.
- Lead quarterly business reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in General Trade sales, preferably in an FMCG MNC.
- Extensive experience working with key regional retailers and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong analytical thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
