Job Purpose:

We are seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead our operations at Oman United Agencies in Oman. Reporting to the General Manager of International & Associate Markets, the role is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives to enhance market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction in Oman's beverage market. The GM will drive business strategy across Retail, On Trade, and route-to-market channels, ensuring alignment with the MMI Group's global priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate senior managers across departments to exceed revenue and profit targets.
  • Oversee P&L and contribute to company growth through effective cost and cash flow management.
  • Build strategic relationships with top-tier clients to maintain OUA's market-leading position.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to identify revenue-generating opportunities and execute brand activations.
  • Align closely with Finance for budget planning, policy management, and financial reviews.
  • Conduct structured reviews with key accounts to ensure delivery of the annual business plan.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • At least 6 years in sales, including 3 years managing key accounts
  • 3–5 years in a senior leadership role
  • P&L and inventory management experience
  • Experience in multi-category channels (beer, wine, spirits, champagne)

Desirable Skills & Qualification:

  • WSET or equivalent wine & spirits qualifications
  • Strong commercial and numerical acumen
  • Effective leadership and cross-cultural team management
  • Proven negotiation, communication, and coaching capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
