Lead Open Source Partnerships

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our partnerships with Global System Integrators (GSIs). As a Senior Partner Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key partners, increasing market share, and driving revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles, as well as a deep understanding of open source selling models, Linux, and cloud software ecosystems. They will be able to negotiate contracts and commercial business terms, work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and product management teams, and lead executive interlocks between partners and our leadership team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strategic relationships with GSIs and drive revenue growth through Ubuntu-based solutions and opportunities.
  • Increase Canonical market share and attach rate by partnering with GSIs to deliver digital transformation platforms.
  • Work closely with the Partner Sales Director to align on strategy and execution.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms to ensure mutual benefit.
