In this role as Key Account Manager for Electrification and Automation Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and managing key accounts in Oman. You will leverage your expertise in the energy industry to establish and nurture customer relationships, ensuring their security needs are met with Siemens' high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed annual sales targets through effective account management and strategic planning.
- Develop and execute tailored account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth.
- Establish strong customer relationships based on your deep understanding of their requirements and your commitment to delivering value.
- Stay abreast of the Oman energy market, including industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to the development of the designated territory, including account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles.
- Collaborate on the development and delivery of comprehensive business plans that address customer priorities and security challenges.
Demand Generation, Pipeline, and Opportunity Management
- Maintain an updated and well-managed sales pipeline, advancing opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Execute the sales strategy and roadmap to successfully close opportunities.
- Understand Siemens' competition and effectively position our solutions against them.
- Keep the CRM system up-to-date with accurate customer and pipeline information.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- 12+ years of experience in sales of switchgear, energy automation solutions, protection relays.
- Experience in managing key accounts and building strong customer relationships.
- Ability to engage clients at all levels, especially the C-Suite and Senior Executive level.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Business level English: Mandatory, Fluent.
- Consultative selling experience - Able to partner with clients, establish trust, understand their needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
- Local language (Arabic): Fluent, Business Level.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
